The Digital Imagination Workshop is a new digital arts organisation led by Wigan-based artist Louise Robson.
Having basic digital skills has lots of benefits - it can increase general wellbeing, reduce social isolation, raise aspirations, improve education and career prospects, and bring people together. We believe that creativity is a brilliant carrier for developing these digital skills.
What We Do
Art Workshops
We deliver digital creativity workshops to people of all ages. Currently the majority of our sessions are taking place across all fifteen libraries in Wigan. See our events page to find out about upcoming sessions.
Digital Imagineers
We're working to establish a sustainable team of 'Digital Imagineer' volunteers across Wigan. If you like using computers, want to develop your digital skills, or want to support others to do so - get in touch!
Tech Lending
We want everybody to have the opportunity to explore tech creatively, so we're working to make tech such as tablets and Micro:bits available to residents and community groups to loan. If you can help us to achieve this goal in any way, please contact us.
